Alan Holly is an animator, filmmaker and visual artist working in Dublin & occasionally Kilkenny. He made his student film Tógtha in 2004 and has since worked freelance as writer, director, character animator and storyboard artist. He directed his first professional short film The Red Ball in 2007, produced by Barley Films and funded by the Irish Film Board then worked with Adrien Merigeau on his Cartoon Saloon produced short film Oldfangs. In 2008 he received a bursary from the Arts Council to develop personal work. |
